Our Heritage

At Home in Umm Al Quwain.

At home in Umm Al Quwain, located in the heart of the United Arab Emirates.

We are proud of our heritage, and that we get to live sustainability in UAQ everyday.

Our protected shores are lined with sprawling mangrove forests which are vital to mitigating climate change through, for example, their extraordinary carbon sequestration capacities. Our seas are home to endangered marine life such as the Halavi guitarfish. And our shores offer refuge and shelter for rare birds on their migration paths, making UAQ a hotspot in the global birding community.

Witnessing the fragile beauty of nature up close everyday reminds us of the importance of our quest to championing the transition into a sustainable economy.
